Can anyone give an update of the Stubblefeild Rd Bridge Project?

This project was to be complete by June 2021.

I know someone knows the status of this bridge!

Sticko:
I am new to this platform, but you would think with 1897 registered members someone would know the status of this project.

I know when I look at posts there is at least 100 quest on the platform. Are these guest register members or just people viewing the site?

This is from the Facebook page for Walker County Pct 4 Road and Bridge posted on Aug 20, 2021. From the pictures on this post I would say there is about maybe two months left to complete.

The Forest Service is getting close to opening their bridge back up. We are thankful for Representative Brady for securing the funding on this project. The new bridge is longer and higher than the old one with the intention to reduce flooding.

The Stubblefield Lake Bridge replacement on Stubblefield Lake Road in the National Forest and Grasslands in Texas, Sam Houston National Forest, is approximately 80 percent complete and will be completed in September, barring any extreme weather. Crews continue to work on bridge approaches and fine details on the bridge.
Construction on the new bridge began in October 2020 and includes pedestrian walkways on both sides and a boat ramp.
The construction area remains marked with signs, and locations around the construction site are still closed for safety. This includes areas near the bridge, bridge road approaches, and boat ramp.
The bridge was damaged in 2017 by floodwaters from Hurricane Harvey.

See Photos below that were from August.

Has anyone been there to see if they are finished yet.

I can't believe that no one on this site has not been by this bridge or knows someone who fishing this area that could give us an update.

The Photos have been viewed over 100 times, but no one seems to know the status of the bridge.

Checked last week and bridge still closed, I emailed Jimmy Henry (Walker County Commissioner - Precinct 4) and he stated "Forest Service tells us around Nov. 25".
