Lake Houston Fishing!

1/2 cup margarine melted

1 cup flour

1- 1/2 teaspoons baking powder

3/4 cup milk

3/4 cup sugar

1/4 teaspoon salt

1 large can peaches

for topping

1/4 teaspoon cinnamon

1/4 cup sugar


Place melted margarine in 13x9 inch pan. mix next five ingredients

pour mixture on top of margarine. Pour peaches on top with it juice

Do not mix together. in a separate dish mix cinnamon sugar topping together

sprinkle mixture of sugar/cinnamon on top .

Bake 350 F oven until brown about 30 minutes.

Thanks for that Sticko. That’s pretty much the recipe I used just more of it. Almost double!
I think some of my problem was in the fact that my DO is so deep. It is a Volcano that came with the Volcano Stove and that sucker is 10” deep 10” across. Next time I’m going to use a 6” deep one and see if that will brown the top a bit better. At one time I had the cover almost covered in charcoal but didn’t win no prize. Oh well, if at first you don’t succeed and all that!
